TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT:
Acupuncture. What is it all about? The word transformation comes to mind: transforming back pain, old habits, or worn out stories about ourselves. Acupuncture changes how one experiences one’s self in the world. These changes can create opportunities for healing the body, mind, and spirit. What does this mean? In my personal and clinical experience, acupuncture allows a person to notice themselves intimately, to be curious, and to embrace change. Change can look like sitting at a desk differently, learning new, slower exercises, or changing how we relate to others. The opportunities for change are limitless. With acupuncture, we work from our history and into the future of our health. It is more than preventative medicine. It is medicine that grows with us.
I began my journey with acupuncture in 1994. I have been an independent acupuncture practitioner since 2010. Mixing Eastern and Western medical approaches have served my life well. I have seen these small needles do some big things for health. I have seen people enjoy feeling great in their bodies again. A focus of mine is helping people feel better in their own skin as well as addressing their aches and pains. These experiences make both the practitioner and the client enjoy this medicine immensely.
