BETH VINCENT, M.H.S., M.S
I am a licensed psychotherapist who works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship and other concerns. I specialize in counseling women and adolescent girls facing stress, life transitions and family dynamics issues.
My goal is to help clients understand the challenges they face and make changes that improve their quality of life. In my experience, this process helps individuals develop greater self esteem, improve communication skills and gain a sense of hope.
My approach combines psychodynamic theory and cognitive-behavioral therapies. This means my work is rooted in the belief that individuals think and act for understandable reasons that may be troublesome in their daily lives. I helps people uncover these reasons and move forward in a way that reduces psychological suffering and promotes wellness.
I hold graduate degrees in clinical psychology and public health from Johns Hopkins University, and I have more than 20 years experience in women’s health.
